The Urban Boulder is Kansas City’s first natural bouldering park, located on the scenic Berkley Riverfront. Created in partnership with JE Dunn and its Groundbreakers initiative, the park features a 38,000-pound climbing boulder with routes and footholds designed by OnSite. Free and open to the public, the space also includes a natural play area for kids, custom benches, and welcoming signage. No equipment is needed to safely climb the boulder, and visitors of all skill levels are invited to climb at their own risk.
