Port KC believes in the power of art to inspire and transform, which is why we’re bringing bold, beautiful murals to the riverfront, one wall at a time.

The Missouri River Mural Project is transforming industrial spaces along the Berkley Riverfront into a vibrant outdoor gallery. Launched in 2023 near the Town of Kansas Bridge, the multi-year effort reduces vandalism while showcasing local artists and inviting the public to explore an often-overlooked stretch of the riverfront.

With colorful murals now lining the path from the bridge to CPKC Stadium, visitors can enjoy a unique mix of art, nature, and KC history. Each phase expands westward and brings new artwork to thousands of daily visitors.

Port KC oversees Berkley Riverfront from the Bond Bridge on the east and to the Town of Kansas Bridge to the west. The murals are located in section “2” of the Kansas City Heritage Trail system, near the Town Of Kansas City bridge. The murals are accessible for free from 5 a.m.to midnight.  Handicapped park access is available. Read more on the MO River Murals website.
