This is a dog-friendly 5K for competitive runners, weekend warriors, novices, walkers and everyone in between. If you love running with your dog — or running with other people running with theirs dogs, or if you just love running! — the Bar K 5K is a must-do event on your race calendar!!

The course starts and ends right in front of Bar K, taking you on a beautiful loop along the Riverfront Heritage Trail through Berkley Riverfront Park, under the Bond Bridge, Heart of America Bridge and the historic AS&B railroad bridge, with only one street crossing along the entire course. You’ll go right by Bar K at the 2-mile mark, so spectators will get to cheer the dogs and humans on! If your pup’s not a runner, leave him/her in our fully staffed dog park while you race!

All entrants will receive a custom finisher’s prize at the finish line. And there’ll be awards for the Top 3 in the following categories:

All entrants can bring their dogs into Bar K for free after the run, and you’ll get one ticket for the free draft beer of your choice at the Afterparty!
